There are so many ways anyone can volunteer! Contact us for volunteer opportunities and a personal tour of our center.

• Mentor a client (male* or female)
  *we have mentoring and maintenance jobs for men
• Become a crucially needed prayer partner
• Disciple a client: build a friendship, and invite them to your church or Bible Study for true discipleship
• Maintain our Blessing Boutique
• Process incoming donations
• Shopping peers who will help moms shop in the boutique
• Volunteer as a client advocate, EWYL advocate, nurse, receptionist, event developer, etc.
• Media developers for products as well as keeping things posted for us and sharing
• Telephone callers/emailers to book speaking engagements with churches and women’s groups (this can be done from home)
• Host a diaper drive
• Plan fundraisers

WOMEN’S ADVOCATE Q&A

1. What would my duties look like?
   Your main role as a client advocate will be to meet with women who come to the center for a pregnancy test. If there is no nurse present, you will walk the woman through a self-administered pregnancy test. You will then talk to her about her options, share God’s Truth with her, pray with her, and refer her for any services you think might be helpful.
2. What kind of time commitment or schedule is needed?
   Shifts are typically 3 hours (9 AM-noon and 1-4 PM) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but any amount of time you are able to give is greatly appreciated.
3. What kind of training is required?
   Every volunteer will be required to attend our three training sessions. After completion of those training sessions, which include an overview of our services, a look at our training manual, legal procedures, evangelism, and confidentiality, you will then set up a time to train individually in your area of interest. Prior evangelism training is great, but not required!
4. Who do I contact to get started?

MEN’S ADVOCATE Q&A

1. What would my duties look like?
   • Talking to a man who might be in crisis because the woman he came in with is pregnant.
   • Making the gentleman feel welcomed and talking with him about he feels.
   • Getting to know him and finding out things that you can relate to and even praise him for.
   • Expressing compassion for what he is going through.
   • Letting him know before he leaves that he will be a great dad.
   • Encouraging him from God’s word that he “can do this.”
   • Building a rapport so that you can communicate with him once he leaves.
   • Attending a monthly “Dads Night Out” dinner meeting to encourage group activity and discussion.
